August 23, 2008 some of our students participated in the 2nd Annual In--house Tournament in Chatham, IL. There were 9 participants from the school. The participants were Frank Eaton, Evan Eaton, Tony Vacca, Renee Vacca, Brandy Mount, Samuel Lawrence, Jazmine Hawkins, Kyrie Taylor, and Calvin McMillan. The competition was breaking and poomse(forms). Each of our students was paired against another school student. The contest was fun and a experience for for some of the very new students.

The participants placed as follows:

Evan Eaton - 1st in forms and 1st in breaking

Jazmine Hawkins - 1st in forms and 1st in breaking

Calvin McMillan - 1st in forms and 1st in breaking

Renee Vacca - 1st in forms

Anthony Vacca - 1st in forms and 2nd in breaking

Samuel Lawrence - 2nd in forms and 1st in breaking

Brandy Mount - 2nd in forms and 2nd in breaking

Frank Eaton - 2nd in forms and 2nd in breaking

Kyrie Taylor - 2nd in froms and 1st in breaking
